For some reason, as i was sitting there yesterday night watching harry potter, I couldn’t stop smiling. It was that moment right there that I realized just how lucky and happy I am And i find this kind of odd, since all we were doing was watching a movie! It made me realize how powerful the most simplest moments are. Im not even sure how to explain it, but after thinking about it, i realized that some of my favourite moments with most friends are when we’re just sitting in a room talking. Or randomly sitting in a car of a parking lot catching up on life. And its not because movies or sitting around are all that special or anything, because they aren’t really. Its because its times like this when things slow down, that you get a chance to take it all in. These are the bonding moments (: If you think about it, in these times, these people could be doing anything else more exciting but instead they’ve chosen to watch a movie, or just sit there with you and do almost nothing! HAHA. May sound stupid, but to me i think thats pretty special. I don’t know, but I feel quite happy with life right now

Paulina Lam is one of the most talented, crazy, spontaneous, and loud person i know! LOOK WHAT SHE MADE ME! <3 ahhh ahhh so amazing!! HAHA! and i thought i couldn’t be more excited for orientation. IM FRICKEN INSANELY EXCITED NOW!

wow. i can’t believe its been a year since the last orientation training! I remember how absolutely amazing it was and can proudly say that those few weeks around orientation were some of the happiest times of my life! I think the thing I love most about orientation is the energy. Everyone is SO happy, SO loud, and so not afraid to who they are! Spontaneous dance parties, delicious (SERIOUSLY SOOOOO GOOD) meals of all you can eat droolingly good food & DESSERTS!, middle of the night ultimate frisbee, wandering and staring at the stars, bonding talks that only make us so much closer <3, endless icebreakers, laughing at EVERYTHING!, meeting new people, cheering our hearts out, and being so tired yet still energetic just because we love it all so much. I’m so excited for tomorrow & next week filled with some of the best and coolest people i know. HEHE. BRING ON THE FUN TIMES now, I really should pack!

AG spontaneously visits JGL & hitRECord

AG, JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT, SEATTLE! some of very very very favourite things combined together HEHE. It started off with a conversation with Paulina on our usual gmail chat discussing the amazing JGL. HEHE. and all of a sudden, i’m calling the ticket guy, dying from excitement and being so happy that I was tearing up! I still can’t believe it! WE SAW JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT IN REAL LIFE! hahahah! his singing, creativity, nice voice, cute quirky jokes, and stunning good looks made the night absolutely amazing! I left the theatre feeling very happy and especially inspired by the work done by hitRECord!

oh AG, I love these girls <3 only AG would ditch life with me to spontaneously drive 2.5 hours to seattle with me to see wonderful Joseph Gordon-Levitt! Wandering the University of Washington afterward, I felt completely at peace and super happy with life. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by my awesome & easily amused friends HEHE,”I ‘knee’D you!”, sprinklers, curry bbt, emergency pole, procreate! paulinas random words as she tries to stay awake! watching trini being adventurous trini! that was definitely a night to remember <3

im an assistant!

The last few weeks have been amazing! I’ve done quite a lot and am trying to make the most out of the last few weeks of summer! Last week ken volunteered to take pictures at a play/musical like show called Clara/Clara at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music and asked me to come with! hahaha so i did and was introduced as the assistant! HAHA. to avoid awkwardness, i took pictures as well. It was exciting and a lot of fun, especially cause it was my first time taking pictures for something like this!

sun shinning sunshine coast!

On Monday, we went on a day trip to sechelt, sunshine coast and it was absolutely amazing def one of my favourite days of all time! HEHE. so these were some memories along with wandering the forest, zucchinis falling in the grill, talking like arnold schwarzenegger, jellyfish BULLY, 10 min super excited photography sesh, sketchy arcade games that dont allow 2 players lol!, asians eating spicy ASIAN chicken wings, mouse cookies, squirrel running around in circles, and meeting larry and terry, the 2 nicest old men ever

Met up with Paulina today to start designing the clan mentorship booklet for Orientation this year! We ended up at sweet revenge on main street where we got cake & free tea! flower BURST! here are my notes from the meeting, which is really just a bunch of doodles of what was around. Ended the night finding out that the Jan Paulina has been texting has not been Jan all a long. Its these funny fails from my friends that keep my life interesting. HEHE. <3

a birthday present

So this is my first project-ish-like thing ive done since school ended! It is a birthday present for one of my best friends! it consists of 7 photohunt cards where you find the 5 differences in the 2 images. It was really nice having time to myself to work on a project that wasn’t school related. ps. the chicken foot looks funny.
